Loan Application Document Checklist
Buyers Answers

When you initially meet with your loan originator you should have the following items to begin your loan processing.

  • Social Security numbers
  • Residence addresses - past two (2) years
  • Names and addresses of each employer - past two (2) years
  • Gross monthly salary of each applicant
  • Names, addresses, account #’s and balances of all checking and savings accounts
  • Names, addresses, account #’s, balances and monthly payments of all open loans, including all credit card accounts
  • Addresses of other real estate owned
  • Loan information on other real estate owned
  • Estimated value of personal property
  • Money or check for credit report(s) and appraisal fee
  • If self employed - consult your loan originator for requirements
  • W2’s from the past two (2) years and current pay stubs
  • Last two (2) month’s bank statements
  • For VA loans only; Certificate of Eligibility (DD214)
